For United Way, Bald is Beautiful - Steve Earley, President of Cross Automation is sporting a new do – rather no hair as part of his company’s annual United Way campaign.  Earley accepted the challenge when employees approached him to shave his head if they reached their projected United Way goal.Just prior to  having his head shaved, Earley stated that 'the United Way is a great cause and I'm happy to do it for the United Way.'  Overall, Cross Automation increased their giving to the United Way by 8% over last year.  In addition to holding a traditional United Way campaign, associates of this employee-owned company raised an additional $2,642 through special events.

Kim Price, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Way was on hand for the head-shaving event and even contributed a few dollars to get a turn at the clippers.
